It was the first way I ever made proper money online. It gave me the confidence, and eventually the financial freedom, to leave my full-time career as a chef and pursue entrepreneurship.

But more than that, it introduced me to an industry, a community and a group of people who would shape the rest of my life.

In 2011, I founded a small forum called CPAFix, which later became AffiliateFix.

The idea was simple: create a free, friendly and genuinely useful place where everyone involved in affiliate marketing could come together.

Affiliates. Networks. Advertisers. Agencies. Traffic sources. Technology providers. Beginners taking their first steps and experienced marketers willing to share what they had learned.

One community, in one place.

Over the following six years, that community grew beyond anything I could have imagined. By the time it was acquired in 2017, AffiliateFix had connected more than 85,000 people and hosted over 500,000 discussions.

It had become the world’s largest free affiliate marketing community.

It also gave me far more than a successful business.

I met my co-founder, Andy Haskins, through AffiliateFix. Together, we went on to build ConversionWise, work with thousands of brands and create a company and life that neither of us could have imagined when we first met online.

Some of my greatest friendships, opportunities and memories began inside that community.

I owe AffiliateFix, and the affiliate industry, an enormous amount.

Why come back now?

Nearly a decade after selling AffiliateFix, I went back to see what had become of it.

Honestly, it was difficult to see.

The platform had received very little meaningful investment or development. The company behind it appeared to have disappeared, communication had broken down and even the brilliant administrator I originally hired all those years ago had been left trying to keep the community alive without the support or resources it deserved.

I made numerous attempts, both personally and through legal representatives, to contact the owners and explore buying AffiliateFix back.

Unfortunately, those attempts went unanswered.

At some point, I had to accept that I might never get the old community back.

So I decided to build something better.

Introducing Affiliate Circle

Affiliate Circle isn’t an attempt to recreate the past.

It’s about taking everything we loved about the original community and building the platform the affiliate industry needs today.

In the years since I left, several new communities have appeared. Some have done good work. Others have borrowed heavily from what we originally built without bringing much originality or meaningful progress to the industry.

Meanwhile, the market has become increasingly fragmented. Conversations are scattered across private groups, messaging apps, social platforms and expensive memberships. Too many spaces are driven by short-term promotion rather than genuine connection, education and collaboration.

We believe the industry deserves a proper home again.

That is why Andy and I created Affiliate Circle.

The name, logo and identity all represent the same idea: bringing every part of the affiliate ecosystem together in the middle.

• Where companies can build genuine relationships.
• Where beginners can ask questions without being judged.
• Where experienced people can openly share what is working.
• Where the industry can learn, connect, collaborate and move forward together.

No closed circles. No unnecessary barriers. No gimmicks.

Just a modern, independent community built by people who genuinely know and love this industry.

I want to beat my own record.

But this isn’t really about numbers. It’s about creating the kind of place that can change someone else’s life in the same way affiliate marketing changed mine.

A place where somebody discovers their first campaign, makes their first commission, meets their future business partner or finds the opportunity that allows them to change direction completely.

Affiliate marketing gave me my start.

AffiliateFix gave me my business partner, some incredible friendships and memories I will carry forever.

Now, with Affiliate Circle, it’s time to give something back and bring this industry together again.
